About the job:

We’re looking for an experienced leader to join our team of everyday heroes in Dunedin!

In this field based role, you will be responsible for the hands on leadership of our Water Reticulation Team. You will focus on planning, training, health & safety, workmanship and equipment to ensure excellent delivery of services to the Dunedin City Council.

What you’ll need:

• A relevant qualification from the Water Industry (Level 3 or 4 Water Service person qualification preferred).
• An excellent understanding of 3 waters networks and the maintenance of them.
• Experience leading a team and taking ownership of sites.
• String construction skills and knowledge, with health, safety and environmental experience.
• A full class 1 licence is essential.  

All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
