About the job:

We are seeking talented Water Servicepeople and Water Technicians to join our team of everyday heroes in the Christchurch Water Reticulation team!

This role involves actively repairing and maintaining the water reticulation networks in the area through servicing all valves and hydrants, installing water main pipes and/or connections and repairing leaks, service pipes and connections on a scheduled and reactive basis.

What you’ll need:

• We are looking for people with 2-5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• You will need to be physically fit, health and safety focused and work well in a team as well as independently.
• Sound knowledge of plant and equipment required for all water activities.
• A full class 1 licence is essential – wheels, tracks and rollers endorsement is advantageous.
  
  

A NZ Certificate in Infrastructure Works, Level 3 or 4 is advantageous, but not essential – if you’re a hard worker, we will help you to obtain this!

All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
