About the job:

We’re looking for an experienced Operator, to join our team of everyday heroes in Dunedin!

Within this role you will be undertaking hydro vacuum excavation, clearing, unblocking and jetting duties within the drainage team, in order to complete projects to a high standard. Health and Safety will be at the forefront of everything you do!

What you’ll need:

• Ideally you will have experience and skill in operating heavy equipment.
• You will be able to identify risks and promote risk-based thinking.
• Knowledge of PPE and other safety equipment is a must!
• You will have the ability to communicate effectively and help sustain a high performing team.
• A full class 2 license is required (class 4 desirable), with dangerous goods endorsement.  

All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
