Groundsperson/Gardener - Christchurch

Join our dedicated team and help maintain the safety, compliance, appearance and smooth operation of our airport's landside areas. As a Landside Groundsperson, you will keep our airport grounds in top shape, you'll be responsible for mowing, gardening, spraying and general maintenance of a specified areas of the airport campus tenancies. This dynamic role includes both regular maintenance and reactive tasks, as well as area upgrades / landscaping as required.

This role will be responsible for
- The maintenance of open spaces and garden areas.
Requirements
- High commitment to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Previous experience working in grounds maintenance.
- Previous experience using ride-on mowers and garden maintenance machinery.
- Grow Safe qualification beneficial.
- Full Class 1 Driver Licence.
- Ability to plan and be proactive.
- Ability to work to and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team adapting to new environments and technologies.
