We are looking for an Experienced Landscaper who will be essential in ensuring the maintenance and enhancement of our community spaces in Christchurch.
In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the upkeep and enhancement of our community spaces. You'll work closely with clients and the public to create a positive community experience, while also training and mentoring the horticultural team to maintain high standards of care. Your expertise will be key in optimising the use of equipment, tools, and processes, and you'll be responsible for the proper maintenance of our fleet, plant, and equipment. Additionally, you'll coordinate and oversee both reactive and scheduled horticultural tasks to support the wellbeing of the community.
Key skills & experience
- Working towards Horticulture Level 4 qualification (would be advantageous)
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in the industry
- Effective communications with team members.
- Reliable and positive attitude, with a strong commitment to Health & Safety protocols.
- Genuine passion for horticulture and a dedication to the quality of work.
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Strong work ethic and a genuine desire to enhance the wellbeing of our communities.
- Operate excavator and other small plant
- Operate and maintain plant
- Transportation of materials
- Liaise with public, and customers
- Wheels and Tracks Licence Endorsements
