Are you a passionate and driven individual seeking an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the heart of New Zealand's social infrastructure development? Citycare Property is looking for a motivated Graduate/Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic Structures and Landscapes Team. As part of this team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the wellbeing of communities throughout Aotearoa by contributing to water enhancement, site works, large hard landscape projects, playground construction, and the creation of concrete and timber structures. 


  • Assist project managers in the planning, execution, and control of construction projects in the water enhancement, site works, large hard landscape projects, playground construction, and concrete and timber structures sectors. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery, including engineers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers. 
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose effective solutions to ensure project milestones are met. 
  • Support the implementation of health and safety practices on-site, promoting a safe working environment for all team members and stakeholders. 
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, budgets, schedules, and progress updates. 
  • Continuously learn and grow within the field of project management, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills. 


  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields is preferred. 
  • Previous knowledge/experience in construction or project management projects relating to the above scope of works (internships or relevant coursework) an advantage! 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building positive working relationships with team members and stakeholders. 
  • Enthusiasm for social infrastructure development and the desire to contribute to community wellbeing. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail. 


  • Working full-time 40 hours between Monday – Friday with no day the same and lots of variety working in different environments
