Status: Permanent Full-Time (35 hours per week) 
Salary: $104,950 – $121,481 pa + 11.5% super + car/allowance

What you will do:

The successful candidate will enjoy the challenge of negotiating, managing, and assessing a caseload of diverse applications including major developments in the Kensington and Kingsford town centres, and a wide range of commercial, industrial, open space, housing, and subdivision applications.

 

We trust you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualification/s in town planning, building surveying, architecture or urban design.
  • Extensive experience in the assessment of complex planning matters (preferably with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience).
  • Excellent knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and other relevant environmental and planning legislation.
  • Demonstrated high level communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated high quality report writing skills.
  • Strong focus on and commitment to quality customer experience.
  • Current and valid Class C Australian Drivers licence.
