Status: Permanent Full-Time (38 Hours per week)
Salary: $74,112 - $81,533 per annum, plus 11% superannuation

Our Recreation Business Services department is seeking a Sales and Marketing Officer. The purpose of the role is to actively source new business and increase sales to all DRLC programs and services, while also maintaining all marketing formats for DRLC within Councils guidelines. 

About this role:

  • Provide leadership in all areas of the DRLC sales system and delivering the marketing plan.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service to clients and potential clients at all times.
  • Develop innovative marketing materials and marketing plans that engage the Randwick community in a cost-effective manner.
  • Maintain the overall sales system for new and existing clients, ensuring all procedures are followed at all times.
  • Maintain, review and provide to the Gym Supervisor on a monthly basis, all business tracking measurement systems including monthly sales reports, retention reports, marketing reports and other reports as requested.
  • In consultation with the Gym Supervisor, actively source new business and increase sales to all DRLC programs and services.

About you:

  • Previous experience in direct sales using a ‘sales’ systems.
  • Previous experience in developing and implementing Marketing plans to increase sales.
  • High level computer skills across a variety of software packages.
  • Highly developed planning, time management and organisational skills.
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • High level of understanding of a variety of media formats including websites, Facebook, Instagram and print.
  • High level communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commitment and understanding of quality customer service.
