About You

We are currently seeking a Central Processing Unit (CPU) Officer to join our team working in the Fairfield office. You will be working in a supportive and inclusive environment and be part of a dynamic and passionate team dedicated to positive change.

About the Role

The Central Processing Unit (CPU) Officer is responsibility for:

  • Ensuring all Employment Service outcomes claims are processed on time and are compliant with the relevant contract evidence guidelines
  • review all fee claims and assess compliance against fee claims and work with operational staff to ensure document evidence are compliant.
  • Providing a supportive culture to all Employment service teams and actively engage with operational team member to maximise opportunity.
  • Ensure full compliance are met with all Employment Service program by passing internal and external audits,
  • Provide advice and assistance to operational staff and branch manager for claims and outcomes related activities as required
  • Monitor claim compliance issues and trend and report to operational manager
  • Ensure data are accurately recorded into organisation system in a timely as required
  • Liaise with employer and operation staff on all wage subsidies Negotiate agreement and monitoring all wage subsidy payment in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and acquit relevant Employment fund transaction
  • Liaise with external stakeholders regarding payments.

 

Essential & Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience within the Employment Services sector in a similar role involving quality and compliance procedures, claims processing, or administration is DESIRABLE
  • Certificate IV or above in Business Administration or similar qualification DESIRABE
  • Demonstrated experience working within a highly compliance driven environment.
  • Previous administrative experience, record keeping and data entry skills
  • High attention to detail and incredible accuracy in administrative tasks
  • Excellent time management and highly developed organisational skills
  • Highly developed communication skills, a well-developed phone manner and excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work towards regular and high-pressure deadlines, such as quarterly, monthly, and weekly reporting
  • Ability to retain high level of contractual information
  • Proven ability to analyse and produce reports and provide accurate information to support business
