The Campus
Nathalia Campus is situated in the north central regional Victoria town of Nathalia. The town is the centre of a large farming area through which the Broken Creek flows. The Campus is set in peaceful surroundings very close to the centre of town

The Position
We have an opportunity for a Learning Support Officer to join our welcoming Nathalia team on a full-time basis starting in 2025.

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have a Certificate IV in Education Support (with previous experience desirable), or Certificate III in Education Support with recent relevant experience. You will be skilled in working one-on-one with a student with a disability to enable full participation in classroom and education activities, liaising efficiently with classroom teachers and campus learning support teachers, and maintaining accurate learning records. A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required for this role. 

Key Accountabilities: Ensure personalised support for students with a range of disabilities, including Down Syndrome, through dedicated 1-1 assistance and in small groups.

Knowledge and Skills: Must possess the ability to adapt teaching support methods and materials to support students with diverse disabilities, such as Down Syndrome, in a small group and 1-1 setting.

Experience: Demonstrated experience in providing small group and 1-1 support to students with disabilities, including Down Syndrome, to facilitate their learning and development.
