The Role

Tucked away within lush, landscaped gardens with vistas over the Dandenong Ranges, Peppertree Hill retirement village is in the heart of Rowville. Peppertree Hill offers a warm community atmosphere and friendly colleagues that are the foundation to a rewarding career.

  • Be the go-to person for general maintenance and repairs to our resident's apartment, the building and common areas
  • Ad hoc gardening 
  • Oversee contractors that attend to works at the property
  • Conduct preventative maintenance activity within the village
  • Identify, attend to and record any maintenance tasks undertake
  • Driving village bus to transport residents to and from the local shops
  • Permanent full-time - Monday to Friday  

 

Your Background 

  • Demonstrated competence as a handyperson
  • Great customer service with a genuine interest in assisting and working with the Elderly
  • Organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Willingness to attend occasional out of hour emergency issues
  • Ability to supervise and liaise with trades
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Current Driver’s License 
  • Medium riigid drivers license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
