About the Role
Work closely with multiple stakeholders to create and deliver the program of events for New Ventures. This includes contributing to the logistics, planning and support of the National events program, including National Sponsored and National Avant led events, New Ventures owned events including conferences, sponsorships, speaking spots and round tables.
The purpose of this role is:
- Develop, plan and execute the new ventures events program that creates acquisition, retention and cross-sell opportunities for the New Ventures businesses
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maximise event ROI and to demonstrate Avant’s value proposition to the relevant specialty.
- Work closely with the broader Marketing & Events team, Partnerships team, Product divisions, and the Growth teams to coordinate the necessary resources and opportunities to support the execution of the State and local events in conjunction with State growth plans.
Key Challenges
- Building and maintaining strong and lasting internal and external stakeholder relationships, and influence other team members to do the same
- Delivering operational excellence (including cost effectiveness) on every event and activity with tangible returns on spend, a component of which is the critical decision to sponsor
- Creating and executing pre-event and post-event communication
- Developing content for owned webinars and round table session with SME’s
- Driving revenue for the New Ventures businesses through the execution of flawless events
- Consistent excellence in timely and high quality delivery.
Key Accountability for the role includes:
- Support and execute the New Ventures hosted and sponsored events (face-to-face and online) program that creates acquisition, retention and cross-sell opportunities
- Work alongside the National Events team to ensure smooth delivery of all events that New Ventures businesses are involved in
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maximise event ROI through tailored advertising and communication opportunities pre, during and post each event
- Ensure high quality and efficient event support, controls and advice are in place, working in conjunction with the states and other key internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure the correct processes, documentation and proper action is taken to ensure the reporting of event outcomes is available and provide support for reporting as required.
