About the role:

The Strategy and Planning Manager is a critical position within our organisation, responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic processes and frameworks that align with our company's overarching goals and objectives.

This role would suit a Strategy Analyst who is ready to take the next step in their career, it requires a combination of strategic thinking, analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments across the business to ensure successful implementation of our strategic vision.  

The key responsibilities include:

• Assist with developing and implementing our strategic framework/plans.
• Facilitate and support the execution of the business planning cycle.
• Support the design of metrics and indicators to track progress against strategic objectives.
• Conduct research and analysis of market trends, competitors and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of strategic initiatives.

Skills and experience required:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Strategy, Information Technology or equivalent 
• Insurance or financial services background preferable (Private Health Insurance beneficial)
• Prior experience as a Strategy Analyst in a small, agile company would be ideal
• Strong analytical capability and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of key business drivers, their impact on the business and using this information to drive informed decision making.
• Strong time management and Excel reporting skills.
