About the role

 

HRIS Rostering Specialist role is a subject matter expert in workforce rostering and scheduling systems. This position is part of a core project team to support the implementation of the rostering functionality within the HRIS for Australian Red Cross volunteers. This role is accountable for leading and driving the discovery, design, build, test and training phases of the workforce management module.

 

What you will bring

  • Sound experience in Workforce Management Systems, HR information systems and Project Management
  • Experience in delivering organisational wide projects and/or programs
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and expertise in rostering/scheduling, award interpretation (including but not limited to SCHADS), HR systems, and project management.
  • Sound analytical skills and demonstrated ability to assess, evaluate and solve problems and exercise initiative and judgment where practices and procedures are not clearly defined
  • Ability to identify the most effective and efficient processes for getting things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to operate under general direction from senior employees and work with people from diverse backgrounds and create a collaborative working environment
