About the role
The Senior Adviser - Integrity supports Red Cross people to prevent, detect and respond to incidents involving fraud, whistleblowing and integrity related matters.
The role is an internal specialist that supports risk-based incident management processes and assists with the investigation and management of high-risk incidents.
The role is responsible for building the capacity of Red Cross people to uphold ethical practice and prevent fraud, whistleblower or integrity related issues through adopting a Speak Up culture.
About you
You will be experienced in the development and implementation of systems and processes that provide effective root cause analysis, systemic issue identification and trend analysis.
In addition to demonstrating experience leading centralised advisory services within complex and widely dispersed operating environments, you will have proven success in designing and enhancing incident reporting to both Executive and Board.
You will also bring:
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of supporting integrity-based incidents
- Substantial knowledge and understanding of responding to incidents involving fraud, whistleblower or integrity related issues.
- High level ability to facilitate evidence based and objective assessments of integrity incidents or issues.
- Significant ability to use data, knowledge and experience to identify problems potentially impacting teams or programs and proactively develop and implement effective solutions.
- High level of interpersonal, negotiation and consultation skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective communications and working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate clearly on sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.
