About the role

Reporting to the Manager- Sourcing, the role is responsible for sourcing high quality, fashionable goods across a variety of product types including recycled donated, new donated and new purchased goods.

This role requires a strong knowledge of Australian brands and a passion for fashionable product appropriate to local markets. Providing superior relationship management skills with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, with the primary goal of acquiring quality donated product for resale.  The role requires an understanding of the circular economy with the ability to identify and execute opportunities to promote reuse. Results driven, superior negotiation and communication skills are critical.

 

What you will bring

  • Knowledge of the Australian fashion industry & associated brands, understanding of fashion trends, and experience in fashion retail
  • Proven experience with administration and coordination activities
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills across internal and external partners
  • Proven financial and numerical skills
  • Positive attitude, resiliency and team orientation critical
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Ability to understand and meet customer needs

Further information

This role is covered by the General Retail and Wholesale award 2010 - Level 8. Salary from $61,987.12 + superannuation + access to salary packaging.
