Purpose

As the Business Development Manager supporting our Peppers Hotels in the Southern Highlands, you will focus on driving our events business at both Peppers Manor House and Peppers Craigieburn. Building strong client relationships will be at the core of your responsibilities, along with promoting our initiatives through creative marketing approaches.

 

Work Your Way – This part-time role, based in Sydney offers the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement, with a commitment of three days per week

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Building solid client relationships and strong Lead Generation will be the Key Performance Indicators for this position
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for promoting and selling event spaces, packages, and services to potential clients
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, event planners, and organisers to secure bookings and encourage repeat business
  • Conducting market research to identify potential clients and understand local market trends
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to hotel management, detailing performance against targets and market trends
  • Review and analyse client feedback and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance future events

 

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in sales or business development roles
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and clients
  • Proficient in analysing sales data, generating reports, and gaining feedback to improve strategies and services
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with other hotel departments
  • Experience negotiating contracts and agreements with clients and partners
