Purpose

As a Finance Officer, you will be an organised professional with excellent communication skills and a strong aptitude for numbers. Being part of a progressive shared service team, you will play an important role in providing support for operational and financial teams across various regions.

 

The Role

  • Background in Finance is not essential
  • Full Time role, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
  • Hourly rate of $28.80 per hour + Super and Accor team member benefits
  • Role can be based in either the Sydney or Melbourne Accor offices, with the potential for flexible working arrangements following completion of a successful induction period
  • Working in a small team you will support up to 12 properties across a range of states within Australia

 

Primary Responsibilities         

  • Prepare, collate and send client monthly statements for properties within your assigned portfolio
  • Monitor outstanding debt, ensuring the timely payments of invoices
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly property credit reports
  • Accurately process payments and apply them to the Property Management System (PMS)
  • Maintain clear and constant communication with the operations and finance teams to ensure the continuity of timely processed data
  • Uphold rigorous adherence to established financial procedures, safeguard the confidentiality of processed information, and contribute to a seamless financial operation
  • Assist the area finance team with Adhoc requests

 

Skills and Experience

  • Current experience as a Receptionist, Hotel Guest Service Agent, or Night Auditor will provide you with transferable skills that are well-suited for this role
  • Highly organised with a key eye for detail and numbers
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of transactions
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft office with the knowledge of SIHOT desirable
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
